Tallinn
Friends,
Midnight in Tallinn, the end of a long and fruitful day.
We began by going to visit the Allika Church, Union of Evangelical Church offices and touring the “Helping Hand” orphanage. These are all in the same building. We hade a wonderful hour-long meeting with Erki Tomm, The General Secretary of the Union and Pelle, the children and youth worker for ten years now. We had a good report and discussed future partnerships with WACC and the churches of Estonia.
After a lunch together, we walked through Old Town and took a tour of Oleviste Church. Then we drove about 45-minutes north of Tallinn to see Helari Puu’s house under construction. It is coming along nicely. After a dinner in Salmistu, we returned to the hotel about 10. Now we are packing for our trip to Kuresaare tomorrow.
